Attleboro firefighters used extrication tools to help the man out of the crash wreckage Sunday night. He died from his injuries at a local hospital.

A 69-year-old man died from his injuries following a car crash on I-95 in Attleboro on Sunday, officials said.
Attleboro firefighters responded to a single-vehicle crash report at 7:25 p.m. and found the car flipped on its side in the woods next to the highway, according to a statement from the Attleboro Fire Department.
Among the wreckage, fire officials said they found an unconscious man, identified as the only passenger, and used extrication tools to remove him from the vehicle. The man was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital while paramedics performed CPR, but was later pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
