Each week, Boston.com will highlight the restaurant openings worth knowing about across the Greater Boston region. Some spots will already be open, while others are set to debut soon or later this year. At least one featured restaurant will always be a bonus item — either a pop-up, a collaboration, or event at area restaurants.

What’s new in Greater Boston restaurant openings this week
Hearth & Hug Bakery
When a cafe space opened up in Somerville, Hearth & Hug Bakery owner Natalie Hug jumped at the chance to take her Boston Public Market bakery into a bigger, more permanent space. She’s currently raising funds for the big move on NuMarket, which gives contributors 120% back in credits to use at the future space.

Iru
Good luck getting into this new Korean restaurant in Brookline, the first U.S. restaurant from restaurateur Hajime Yamazaki. The star of the menu is the samgyetang, which Yamazaki uses his mother’s recipe to cook the ginseng chicken soup.

Milkweed
Those with a sweet tooth for breakfast have a new option in town now that Milkweed has expanded to Dorchester. Expect the same menu items, like Lucky Charms pancakes, smoothies, and a lunch and dinner menu as well.

The Block at Woods Hill
Farm-to-table restaurant Woods Hill Pier 4 is bringing a concept next door that combines a restaurant with a market that focuses on local produce. The day menu will include sandwiches like a Jamon Beurre, the night menu will feature both tapas and larger entrees, and diners can stock up on charcuterie items or artisanal products at the market.

Bonus: Distraction Brewing Co. reopening
Under new ownership, the Rozzie craft brewery is officially reopening Thursday at 4 p.m. Their outdoor patio will also be open, and grab one of their new summer can drops while you’re at it.
